A symphony of compassion and expertise was harmonized by the Rotary Club of Bauan, under the inspiring leadership of Irresistible Magical President Rolly Dolor, who initiated a groundbreaking project, “Ngiting Alay para kay Nanay at Mamay.” This noble endeavor, aligned with Governor Arnold Mendoza’s legacy project, A.R.N. Oral Health.L.D., aimed to restore smiles to the faces of deserving senior citizens through the provision of free dentures.
In collaboration with the Philippine Dental Association Batangas City Dental Chapter, led by President Rowena Hernandez, the project commenced with a meticulous planning phase. Project chairs, Executive Secretary Rainier Marquez and DMD Haidee M. Dipasupil Marquez, orchestrated the initial stages with precision and care. A comprehensive screening process was implemented to identify eligible beneficiaries, followed by meticulous measurements and dental impressions.
“Ngiting Alay para kay Nanay at Mamay”
The project execution with the theme, “Ngiting Alay para kay Nanay at Mamay”, was done last July 7 and 14, 2024 for two (2) Sundays were filled with a smiling atmosphere from twenty one (21) Senior Citizens from Bauan and San Pascual and ten (10) younger age patients with a total of 46 dentures.
The Batangas City Dental Chapter building transformed into a hub of hope and healing, where skilled dental professionals toiled tirelessly to craft dentures that would not only improve the beneficiaries’ oral health but also elevate their quality of life. A smiling face with their open dentures were a good proof that our Senior Citizens (Nanay at Mamay) accepted this project wholeheartedly and will enjoy oral health throughout their life journey.
